The US spends more than twice on healthcare as compared with other wealthy nations,  yet  the US ranks near the bottom in life expectancy and infant mortality.  This phenomenon is due in part to the over-utilization of high-tech medicine and pharmaceuticals when low-tech lifestyle change remains the real answer.  When looking for the problems in our healthcare industry one only needs to "follow the money..."

Most of us understand that regular maintenance and early diagnosis and adjustments not only keep our cars running reliably for a much longer time, but ultimately save us money as well.

Though the human body is certainly much more complex than an automobile (and nearly impossible to "repair" once extensive damage has been done due to abuse and neglect), many Americans too often shrug and say "not to worry, the mainstream medical practice in our country can fix me."

To me it seems that the ancient Chinese had it right. According to Dr. Jim Prado of the Pomperaug Chiropractic and Holistic Center in Southbury...
